Program Details

4/1 Program

Most school programs ask families to show up and step back. At Wayfinders, we ask you to stay in it. Our 4-days on-campus, 1-day at home program gives students four full, immersive days each week to build core skills, collaborate with peers, and work through real challenges that are worth solving. The fifth day belongs to your family. Choose from teacher-guided learning pathway activities designed to extend and deepen exactly what your child has been working on — no guesswork, no scrambling, just meaningful learning that fits your day. The result is a program that keeps learning moving steadily forward, keeps families genuinely connected to the journey, and gives your child the consistency of campus life alongside the breathing room that one unhurried day at home can provide.

2/3 Program

Families often feel like school and home are two separate worlds. At Wayfinders, they are the same world. Our 2-on, 3-at-home program means students spend two full days on campus building skills, collaborating with peers, and working through real challenges together. The other three days belong to your family. Use teacher-guided pathway activities, or chart your own course based on what your child is curious about and working toward. Either way, your child stays on track, goes deeper, and has the kind of unrushed time that turns learning into understanding.

Admission Process

1. Get to know the community agreements

  • Read and discuss the Family Partnership agreement.
  • Read and discuss with the children you seek to enroll the student pledge.

2. Prepare your responses to the following questions:

  • What excites you the most about Wayfinders Academy?
  • When you imagine your child flourishing at school, what does that look like? What are you picturing?
  • How do you know your child is learning and growing? What evidence feels meaningful to you?
  • What does a good parent-school relationship look like to you? What are both sides responsible for?

3. Fill out the application of interest form

4. Invitation to register

Every great journey begins with a decision. If our conversations confirm that Wayfinders is the right fit for your family and yours for ours, we will extend an enrollment invitation and send the formal documents your way. When the Family Partnership Agreement and Wayfinder’s Pledge are signed, your child’s place in the community is held with a $150/per child non-refundable deposit.

Payment Schedule

Tuition at the school is paid by semester. Each academic year consists of two semesters:

  • Fall Semester
  • Spring Semester

Payment for each semester is due prior to the first day of that semester unless other arrangements have been approved in writing by the school administration.

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a student’s place at the school.

  • The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal or cancellation of enrollment.
  • A student’s space is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received.

Refund Policy

If a student withdraws before the first day of the semester, any tuition paid for that semester will be refunded in full, minus the $150 non-refundable deposit.

Once the semester has started, refunds are issued according to the following schedule:

  • Withdrawal within the first 2 weeks of the semester:
50% of the semester tuition will be refunded.

Withdrawal after the first 2 weeks of the semester:
No tuition refund will be issued.

Withdrawl

If a student withdraws during the semester, written notice must be submitted to the school administration. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the date the written notice is received, not the student’s last day of attendance.

If the school cancels a program or is unable to provide instruction for a semester, any prepaid tuition for that semester will be refunded in full.

Requests for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances may be submitted in writing to the school administration. Any adjustments to this policy are at the sole discretion of the school.
