Yes. Wayfinders Academy is not funded directly by the government. Parents, however, are able to apply for grants or scholarships to get assistance in paying the tuition.
We plan to expand each year so that students have a Wayfinder option for the high school years.
We will complete the accreditation process as soon as we qualify, which is usually after 2 years.
The short answer is no. The longer answer is worth sharing. Our founders are people of genuine, active faith. The kind that shapes how you see the world and the people in it. That faith is part of why Wayfinders exists. We believe children are capable of remarkable things. We believe community matters deeply. We believe honesty, integrity, compassion, and hard work are not just good ideas, they are the foundation of a life worth living. What we do not believe is that a school is the right place to teach religious doctrine. That belongs at home, with the families who hold those beliefs and live them every day. At Wayfinders, your child is free to express their faith, bring their beliefs into Socratic discussions, and be fully themselves, faith included. We simply leave the doctrinal instruction where it belongs. In your hands.
